Looking Down

16 x 12 - SOLD
An autumn walk on the Superior Hiking Trail in northern Minnesota took me to the setting for “Looking Down”. Spotlighted in the late afternoon sun, the red berries of the bunchberry plant made a bold statement amidst an ocean of greens and browns. They caught my attention, seeming to peer up and shout, “Hey, look at me!” Adding to the beauty were the richly textured tree roots, and the delicate leaf shadows that danced their way across the stage. What a wonderful reminder of the importance of celebrating one’s uniqueness as these bold berries were doing!
